From the great palmetto state of South Carolina. Nothing could be finer. My grandmother put a guitar in my hands at about age 13. I spent some time with it, then came basketball and girls , not necessarily in that order!
But coming from a musical family, the urge to pick the guitar and microphone back up was always there.
My first real band I performed with was the Breeze, a 5 piece band with a kick ass guitarist and a smug as hell drummer! Then there were other bands I was in, none of which you heard of, but all meant something to me. After personal tragedies, and there were quite a few, I kept a low profile for a while after that, watching what I foresaw as a decline in the music industry in both quality and sales. Let's make it better!
I wrote "Do you ever Wonder" in the 90s, to be used for my work with Phalanges Fever, but it was not used until now. I have pulled the original recording from long ago, had it mastered by K. Ward at StainlessSteeleMastering(see links ) and have presented it on Pure Volume(see links) for free download for a while.
The other three songs I present here are from the greats, Pete Townsend, Gordon Lightfoot and Jim Hendricks.
Long Lonesome Highway was the closing theme song from the old now cult classic tv show, "Then came Bronson". It was written by Jim Hendricks. I would like to thank Doug Thomas for the great harmonica on the song! Great job!
I would like to thank Mira for the photography, and inspiration, keyboards and tambourine, she will be going out with me to perform in the very near future. Those dates will be posted as necessary.
The music is available on itunes, amazon, or the hookah and nimbit players on this site.
Turn it up, check it out, and enjoy.
